Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 September 2026
1. Scope of these terms
These terms govern the use of cybersecurityv.com, the public registry, Trust Pages, badges and the client portal. Verification services are provided under a separate agreement and the issuance rules.
2. The public registry
The registry and Trust Pages are provided for the purpose of checking certificates. You may link to them freely. You may not scrape the registry at a rate that impairs the service, alter or misrepresent its contents, or present a record as covering anything outside its published scope.
3. Badges and embed code
Badges may be displayed only by the certificate holder, in the issued form, linking to the Trust Page. A badge for a suspended, expired or revoked certificate displays that status.
4. No warranty of security
A certificate confirms the results of the checks within the published scope on the stated date under the stated methodology edition. It is not a warranty that a product is free of vulnerabilities, and CyberSecurityV is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a certificate beyond its published scope.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the website to attack, probe or overload systems, submit false applications, or impersonate a certificate holder.
6. Intellectual property
The CyberSecurityV name, mark, methodology texts and site content are protected. Reproduction of methodology texts for the purpose of understanding a certificate is permitted with attribution.
7. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the current version is always published here. Governing law and venue are set out in the service agreement; for the public website, disputes are resolved under the law of the jurisdiction of the operating entity as published on the contact page.
